Attempting to Watch Time

First off, I had a great birthday, thanks to everyone, ever! Thanks, you! After Naturalists, I hung out at Maria's house, although she wasn't actually there for most of the time I was. I hung out with Pete, her older brother who I haven't seen in what feels like months. We talked about Pokemon almost the whole time, which will lead me into my next topic after these next two paragraphs!

I had a lovely dinner with my brother and parents, Courtney couldn't make it, because of some rehearsal for a play I don't want to see. We went to Sushi Thai Garden, which is there we go every Ide of March. My mom insisted we take the presents with us, and we opened them there. I got a book of hilarious roadsigns and the Dragon Ball Z vizbig volume 6 from Courtney, a D.Gray-Man volume from Mark, a gift-card to Gamestop from mom and a kick-awesome watch from my dad!

It's pretty kick-awesome! I feel so special wearing it, because I almost never wore a watch in my days. Not since I was smaller anyway. But it's all like. "I need to know what time it is. Should I look at the clock? BITCHNO*, just take a gander at that little ticking GEARMACHINE on your wrist!" Yeah, ON MY WRIST. I was freaked out too, because that's basically like having TIME on your WRIST. How badass is that? It's like this: it watches time, and then fills me in on the details. How awesome is that!? Can you effin' WATCH TIME!? I didn't think so!

Anywho, onto Pokemon, and me being a big nerd
So, I've been excited for the new remakes of Silver and Gold, SoulSilver and HeartGold, to come out for a while now, but in the past few days I've been extra-super-mash-the-keyboard excited!

I've been in love with Pokemon since I got Yellow when I was six, followed by Blue AND Red, and later Silver. Now, people say "Oh Pokemon was better when it was just those first three primary colors." And, while I've never heard anyone refer to the first triad of Pokemon games as primary colors, I will admit to some valid points these die-heard Pokefans put forth. ONLY some. For when I tell my kids about how great Pokemon was, I WILL include, along with the first three, Silver, Gold, and the poorly named Crystal. Because they WERE original Pokemon games. They were basically just Red&Blue with some efficient and cool additions like berries and eggs. AND they remade Kanto all over again, with a 3-year time lapse. That's basically the entire game TWICE. That's pretty awesome if I do say so myself.

So, I'll be going to get SS tomorrow with my GameStop gift card. I'm SO EXCITED, it's not even funny. I'll be putting my Poke-Pedometer on straight out of there. AND YES. You heard me. Poke-Pedometer. You can train Pokemon by walking, now. And catch them, and battle, and find items. Maybe GameFreak is making up for all those, chubby inactive kids they've created over the years.

But before I can have ALL THIS FUN, I get to go get my teeth drilled out of my skull, and walk around with the numbest half of a face I've had in two weeks, since they did the OTHER side. I hate the dentist! =D
