Rather cold precipitation and Doctor Who

Looks like my attempts to go to the NCBI workshop might be foiled again, seeing how we'll probably be snowed in by morning. A couple bus drivers and teachers are expecting tomorrow and Thursday off. The only way I won't be mad at weather for taking NCBI away fro me again is if we get the REST of the week off entirely.

I just heard about Chatroulette today from Penny Arcade and decided to try it out. Of course my Acer Craptop won't let my webcam work on there though. People disconnect fast if you have no cam. Or if you're male.

So, I officially lost my sling, which doesn't really matter anymore. I can walk around without it hurting, which is good. I just can't do anything FANCY like open doors with my right arm or point with an outstretched arm. FANCY things. Its healling at a rate that I can go back to Caffe Lena on Friday. I'm so freakin' happy you don't even know.

On another note, Series 5 Doctor Who trailer. Not sure how much of that I should take literally. Of course the Daleks are back, and the Weeping Angels too, for the first time since series 3. I recognize that switchy angry face from the original trailer. The thing that really interests me is the thing that looks like a Sleestak from Land of the Lost. I saw it in the first trailer as well, but can't connect it to anything. I think it's safe to assume it's one of the new species announced in this season: The Timoreen, The Skraskish, or The Ha'rik. The latter two seem a bit contrived...
